The Post-War Mydlands
With stout faith, Hawkyns has a real talent for turning undead but much prefers the cloistered life
Human; 5’ 10" tall; Sandy blond hair and patchy beard growth. A little below average strength for a human.
Jay Hawkyns was born in the town of Tansea, east of Nevamyr, where the Hidden River dumps into Lake Blue Silk. His family were all fishermen by trade, running a fairly successful operation, staying out of “the troubles” when Hin belonging to S.h.o.r.t. tried to make a move on the docks of Tansea.
Falling ill when he was very young, Jay never quite recovered his full health and was not a very valuable or proficient fisherman, much to his father’s disappointment. He excelled at his studies though, digging into local politics and church affairs. Eventually, with a share of his inheritance in hand he bid goodbye to his family and enrolled in the seminary at Narvesyn School. Already aware of such things, it didn’t take him long to fall in with members of the Cult of Aurora, which he enthusiastically joined.
His administrative aptitude and dissertations on theology and law brought him to the attentions of the Deans which — originally much against his will and better judgement — landed him in the adventuring group he now finds is his family away from family.
